About the project

DonaldStudio is a desktop AI-powered IDE designed for multi-environment orchestration, intelligent context optimization, and secure local data processing.

Key Technological Solutions: • Multi-Environment Single-Session AI: The AI agent operates seamlessly across local codebases and multiple remote servers simultaneously within a single chat session, orchestrating cross-environment tasks. • Context Compression & Optimization: Instead of sending full codebases to the AI model, the local engine extracts precise code fragments, line ranges, and adaptive session summaries, eliminating prompt noise and redundant overhead. • Hybrid Retrieval Engine: Combines high-speed syntactic matching with a local semantic vector index to supply exact, relevant context. • Local Codebase Indexing: Project parsing and real-time file tracking are performed strictly on the user’s device without routing source code through external cloud indexing backends. • Controlled Code Application (Apply / Reject): All proposed code modifications are reviewed through an intuitive visual diff and applied only upon manual approval. • Remote Infrastructure Diagnostics: Direct, secure SSH/SFTP and container management across multiple servers without additional web backends
